Please clarify my doubt that is SEBC and OBC category are same?? I am in OBC category but i have SEBC certificate.

If your name is in respective list then you can obtain ur respective certificate.

State gov has power  to  add some caste sebc reservation but it's only effectively in state.

If you have sebc certificate in regional language of state but your name is not found in obc list of  central  gov. Then you can only enjoy the benefit of reservation in state or state level exam or education.  At central level you are in unreserved category.

If your name  in obc central list than you can obtain obc certificate (English & state regional  language). After that you will enjoy benefit of reservation at central level exam or education institute,  otherwise not.

SBC stands for the Special Backward Category or caste. OBC included 346 castes and SBC includes seven caste. Unreserved category is the category which does not have any advantage of reservation.

During fillup my form can I apply in SEBC category by submitting OBC certificate? Or I have to obtain an SEBC certificate?? Please clarify my doubt I am really confused about it

Both the categories are inter-linked as SEBC stands for socially and economically backward classes whereas OBC stands for other backward classes. However, both the terms are used inter-changeably and 27% of provision is applicable for both ones.

Also, it also depends which exam or college you are applying for because the eligibility and admission criteria varies accordingly so please mentin the same.
