With 390 marks and AIR 230540 in NEET, chances for MBBS in government colleges (Gujarat State) in the General category are slim. But you may get a BDS seat in self-financed colleges during the later rounds of ACPUGMEC counseling. Colleges like Karnavati School of Dentistry or College of Dental Sciences might be possible. Also explore options under management quota. Ensure you participate in Gujarat’s state counseling and MCC Round 2 or mop-up for wider options.

With NEET 2025 marks of 390, AI rank 230540, and General (Open) category, getting a government MBBS seat in Gujarat is highly unlikely, as cutoffs for Gen category exceed 500+ marks.

Here are few options;

  • Private Medical Colleges in Gujarat (like AMC MET, GMERS, Parul Institute) under Management quota may be possible.

  • BDS seats in private colleges are more likely.

  • Consider deemed universities or courses like BAMS, BHMS, BPT.

Based on your NEET marks in Gujarat state, your chances of admission to medical colleges will depend on several factors such as your NEET 2025 score, all India rank, category, state quota reservation, and domicile. If your score is above 500 you have fair chances to get a seat in a government medical college under the state quota especially if you belong to a reserved category. With scores between 450 and 500 you may get admission in semi government or private medical colleges with state quota fees. If your score is below 450 your chances are mostly in private self financed medical colleges and deemed universities with higher fees. For SC ST or SEBC categories the cutoffs are usually lower by around fifty to seventy marks than general category so that improves your chances. Gujarat has reputed colleges like B J Medical College Ahmedabad Government Medical College Surat and Government Medical College Bhavnagar among others. If you share your exact NEET score and category I can provide a more accurate list.
