The cutoff for neet counselling is different for different categories, and so it depends on the category about the minimum number of marks or cut off percentile.

The cutoff for general category is 50 percentile, for general and physically handicapped students it is 45 percentile. For other reserved category such as OBC, SC, ST, the cutoff percentile is 40.
