You can consider the following books for preparation of mathematics for gate.
  • GATE Arihant Mathematics
  • B.S. Grewal book of Engineering Mathematics
  • GATE Mathematics by R.K.Kanodia
  • H.K Das

Make sure to go through the engineering books that you might have used for Mathematics 1, Mathematics 2, Mathematics 3 and Mathematics 4. Anton would be one book that I would recommend. Make sure to have a good grasp in the basics of algebra and calculus. Practice as many questions as you can. Go through old question papers.
