No, Asutosh College, Kolkata doesn't conduct any entrance test for admission to BSc, BA courses. The admission is based on merit obtained in the qualifying examination. A merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in top four subjects of the qualifying exam of the applicants. Based on the merit list admission will be provided. For Physics and Chemistry, the minimum eligibility criteria is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate and Physics (Chemistry for Chemistry hons)with 45% marks and have passed Maths and Chemistry (Maths and Physics for Chemistry hons.). For Geology, passed 10+2 with PCM with 50% aggregate marks.
