Hey Harleen,

I will give you a short description of both the fields.

Btech in Bioinformatics includes the application of information technology in Biology.

Bioinformatics deals with use of various applications, tools, software for the Biological data handling, drawing conclusions and implementation.

Biotechnology is a very wide area which also covers bioinformatics in it. It deals with the development of all the technologies and processes that can help combating the problems faced in the field of biology.

Moving on to the scope and relatively better Btech course, I will suggest you, to go for Btech in BIOTECHNOLOGY. Biotechnology has large number of opportunities as compared to Bioinformatics.

I hope you have got your answer.

Good luck !
