For both ISRO , DRDO you have to give gate
In gate exam it's depends on which department you are. There are many recruitment but different course,
In DRDO the vacancy come soon, Students having a validGATE 2021score from the year 2021/2020/2019 are eligible to apply for DRDO Scientist B recruitment.

For Part I -80% weightage will be given to the descriptive examination and 20% weightage to personal interview.

For Part II -80% weightage will be given to the GATE scores and 20% weightage to personal interview

In ISRO it is really hard you have to score very good. Or excellent , there interview is quite hard .

Candidate have minimum of 60% in the interview process will be eligible for consideration for empanelment in the selection panel.
