plz tell me punjab university m.a. mass com and journalism entrance exam pattern.

Hello Beniwal!
To pass the Entrance Test conducted for M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication course offered by Panjab University, you will have to obtain at least 40% of the total marks.

Here, 60% weightage is given to your Entrance Test marks and 40% weightage is given to your graduation percentage.

To be eligible to sit for the entrance test , you must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks in the aggregate.

The test will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes duration and comprise of Objective (MCQ) and Subjective (descriptive) Type questions for 65 marks out of the total of 75 marks.
The 10 marks remaining would be equally divided between Group Discussion and Personal Interview to be held after the entrance test.
The test will include the following five components :-
1. Article writing on current events.
2. Precis Writing.
3. Feature, writing on personalities, reviews etc.
4. Current Affairs and General Knowledge.
5. Interpretative passage.

To be eligible to appear in GD and PI, you will have to pass the entrance test and then submit a fresh application to the School of Communication Studies OF PU.
