Hi Anand

Since you are pursuing B.Tech in IT, you must have had few programming courses as part of your degree program. I suggest you to first go through them once again, if you feel you haven't for the first time properly. They will really help in building your basics. Apart from that, you should start by learning Python, it is the best language for a beginner. Also, please understand you do not need to know all the programming languages in the world to call yourself a programmer, all you need to know is computation and applying logics. Do some basic introductory courses, and slowly make your way to the advanced courses. If you are interested in competitive coding or even just challenging yourself, make an account on Codechef/Hackerrank etc. Your progress on these accounts are also considered by many companies during the placement process.
