Having family income below 1 lakh, all of your semester fee will probably be waved off and you may even get a monthly stipend under certain Scholarship schemes like MCM Scholarship. However you may still have to give the Mess/Hostel/Registration fee annually. IITs and NITs are extremely considerate towards students like you and you can be sure of monetary and financial support during the course of your study.
