Hello Dear ,

It depends on how much time you have left for JEE preparation.

If you have sufficient time for JEE preparation, then you can definitely go through the standard Books , which really helps in making your concept clear.

If you have any doubt regarding any subject or topic , then firstly go for the lectures and make your self notes , after that , read the book thoroughly or practise questions on that topic or subject , this will really helps you to make command on that particular topic or subject.

But if you have little time left for JEE preparation , then my advise is that never go through the books. In less amount of time , you will come under pressure and can't study the books properly or can't cover all the topics or subjects. Do self study,  watch some good vedio lectures available for JEE preparation and make your own notes and practise more and more questions. You can also join Test series according to your suitability.

Good luck for your bright future....

Hope this will help you..!!

hey there,

hope you are doing well and keeping fine...

so heres the answer to your query...

I would suggest you to first go through your text books then get to know a small gist about the topics and accordingly watch the lectures and make your own notes with it. thats the most important point which most of the students miss out. Later on these notes would help you to summarize a whole lecture. and another point is that after watching the lectures you should definitely practice the back questions.

Hope this helps you..

with best regards...

Hello,

This totally depends upon your comfortness and understanding. If you can understand your concepts through book itself then why to go for video lectures but if you find difficulty understanding concepts then you can opt video lectures. Also the second option can be you can balance both to understand concepts you can prefer video lectures and to solve numerous questions you can prefer books. So decide and start preparing for exam. I hope this answer may help you to decide which is the best way to study.

Prepare well
and
All the best.
