yes you have chance to get in to nits ..prepare the list of college based on your preference and also with the preference of branch that you are looking for ..also keep patient while counselling you will be alloted nits in later round that is after 5th round with so called a good branch.

even go for csab round counselling and fill only the college that you can take if alloted because if you refuse or change you mind of not getting admission in that college you money won't be returned

Well if u are general then do not think of getting a good nit with good branch..u can get north east nits like nit Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam,kashmir etc...u can get good branches in new iiits...good luck
