Hello Anupriya ,

With your Gate score 462 and according to previous year cutoff trends it is slightly difficult for a chance in IITs and NITs. But this is based on previous year data and the cutoff trends that changes every year depending on various factors like difficulty of examination , number of candidates appeared in examination etc.

As you belong to SC category therefore you might have a little chance to make it into IITs and NITs .
