If you face major financial problem I would suggest you to go for a PSU. But since you are too much interested in acadamics I suggest you to go for higher studies maybe even in future. If you do higher studies in a good premiere institute (IITs/NITs) you get monthly stipend as well. For tuition fees you can go for Education/Scholar Loan. There are many interest free loan policies for the first 2-3 yrs after your loan acquisition based on your family's income. So before jumping into any decisions I suggest you to go for expense calculation for your studies. The reason I am stressing on this is after completion of you Post Graduation you can apply for lecturer job in IITs/NITs and do a PhD as part time. Now you get stipend for your research and also get paid for your teaching profession also. Your stipend for research keeps on increasing based on your number of publications. After few years you get the same feel of working in a PSU and the field of your interest. So Plan accordingly. All the Best
