Should i Go for CS or Civil engineering?Which has more scope..and if i do it from any Nits.what would be my salary?

Your first choice should be definitely Computer Science and Engineering if you are whole purpose of doing engineering is to get a job as you have interest in both Computer Science and Engineering and civil engineering there for your first choice would be if Computer Science and Engineering then there are many benefits of it best benefit is that you can easily geta job from the college itself and the packages are very good compared to other branches and if you consider civil engineering then don't think for placement from the campus even at NIT because even in the IITit happens that civil engineering student does not get placed in the core engineering sector and not a single student therefore to do a job in the field of computer science by taking a civil engineering is not is better is taking a job in Computer Science and doing Computer Science and Engineering there for you should definitely use computer science and engineering .

In terms of salary there is not any fixed rule but it is NIT so salary will be definitely less compared to IIT students so the salary maybe average at 6 lacs per annum for computer science engineering but this also depends on various NIT.
