Hi Sahil,
This is totally up to you if you think you can study hard without losing concentration then you should drop this year, and if you've even a little bit of doubt, don't take drop. HBTU is a decent college and you're getting CSE there ( the most sought after branch).
All the best
Every year we are all filled with this confusion in our minds. I will helo you sort it,but it is you who has to make a decision now. Are you sure of cracking it the next time? Even if you have a little doubt, please take up HBTU. Else, it is again a tough journey and you have to remain motivated all around the year and face it again next year.
Generally,I would advise to take up CSE at HBTU,as this is what I would have done, had I been in your place.
Take your decisions carefully please. Best wishes!

HELLO! SAHIL SONI
SEE HBTU WE CAN'T COMPARE THAT WITH IITS AND NITS. SO IF YOU HAVE CONFIDENCE THAT YOU CAN PREPARE WELL IN THE 1 YEAR BREAK AND DONT MAKE WASTE THEN TAKE A DROP AND START PREPARING FOR IITJEE.
SO ITS UPTO YOU TO CHOSE BUT REMEMBER IITs AND NITs ARE FAR LEVEL ABOVE THEN YOUR HBTU.
ALL THE BEST.
