Hii..

According to me,the expected cut off for general category will be around 90-95 marks.But i will suggest you to don't loose your hope,prepare for the next exam.You can see the previous years cut off trends below:-

Yes you should definitely prepare for jee advance as there are some chances that you might qualify for jee Advance.

Instead Prepare for other entrance exams like State Level Entrance Exams , BITSAT, Manipal university, etc. You will also find them easier than JEE MAIN and there are more chances of getting good score in that.

There is nothing bad in preparing but its difficult that u will be eligible candidate
So better prepare for other colleges exam

I got 76 this year and this is what I got as suggestion

It is very dificult to say that 74 marks in general category will get you through to jee advance.Because expected cutoff is more likely to come above than that.Though you can hipe for best and wait until 24 april when cutoff will be declared.
And you have plenty of options too like you cna start preparing for webjee and jcece too.
