Outside UP candidates cannot apply to government and government-funded engineering institutes in the state. However, they may be considered for admission in private institutions affiliated to AKTU based on UPSEE scores.
Of the total sanctioned seats offered by these institutes, 10% seats are open for non-UP domicile candidates.
