Dear Akash, 500 is a decent score. You haven't mentioned the State that you want to apply for. So it totally depends on what State you want to apply and if you want to apply under All India Quota or State Quota. State Quota has higher cut off marks. Neverthless, 500 for OBC has good options. For states like Delhi and Tamilnadu, the cut.offs are high. But for Himachal Pradesh it is relatively less. For Karnataka, the highest cut off was 512 under General Category. And you cannot be eligible for State Quota of every State which means you should also try for All India Quota. But without having an idea of which State and Category you belong to, it is difficult to guess your chances. But in general 500 is a score that can give you the best colleges. You have fair chances in states like Maharashtra, UP if you have their State domicile. However, please help us with the State you are looking for and we will help you with their cut offs. And regarding the coaching, it is always good to wait until the final merit list has been released. You will know what are your chances.

You can get a seat in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical Institute or UP Rural Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. These 2 colleges had cut offs less than 500. Having said that, please visit this link for cut offs for all the complete list:
