Your rank is very low for you to get a seat in obc quota in any of the NITs. Last year, the close rank went upto around 10k. So based on it, there is very less chance of you to get a seat in NITs. The total seats in NITs are 5215. So, it quite difficult which such a low rank.

Hi ! Well, you can get nit in different colleges. Yes, you can get it. The nit may vary from 2nd tier to 3rd tier nit. The nit which you may get are nit Manipur, nit Jharkhand, nit Durgapur and nit Manipur. But in all these cases you have to wait until last round. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.
