Hey! With 366 marks in NEET 2025 under SC rural category in Karnataka, your chances for a government seat in private medical colleges are decent, especially in the later rounds of state counselling. Seats in semi-government quota of private colleges may open up for your score.

If you don’t get a government quota seat, then yes, you can also apply for the 12 lakh payment seat in the mop-up round. Many students go for this option when government quota doesn’t work out.

My advice: participate in all the rounds of counselling till mop-up. You’ll get a clearer picture of available seats, and you should have a fair chance.
