If you aren't from the general category then you must have qualified to appear for advance. So first wait for the process to get completed. But, if you didn't qualified for the  advance then don't worry, there are some better colleges for you to get.

# since NITs take 35-40 thousand students as per year intake, you can apply for all of them.

Other than that, the best institutions for you are:

1 BITS Pilani

2 Delhi Technological University

3 BITS Mesra

4 Netaji Subhas Institute Of Technology

5 Anna University

6 Jadavpur University

7 Punjab Engineering College

8 Colleges of Engineering Pune

If you are seeking a dynamic and relaxed college life then GGSIPU Delhi, is a good choice as well.

Hope it helps.

Thank you!
