According to my opinion you will get NIT based on your rank.You will get NIT Allahabad,NIT bhopal,Ambedkar NIT etc.I am saying on the basis of previous year opening and closing rank given in JOSAA website.

Yes of course you can get nit seat but either you have ti compromise with your college or with your branch that means either you have to go for lower branches in good nits or you have to go to lower nits for good branches.

As oer last year cutoff you can get biotech in durgapur, msc chem in svnit, msc phy. at patna, or you have to go for north east nits where you can get ece

You have not mentioned which your home state is. With a rank of around 3,900 in the SC category, you can get a seat in the NIT's when comparing the results of previous years. You have good chances of getting in your home state itself. But, courses like CSE or ECE depends on your home state quota only. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. based on your rank you will definitely get a seat in nit such as nit silcher,nit patna and cse in north east nits . You can even try new iiits such as bhopal,una,naya raipur etc for cse branch.

You may even fetch a seat in better nits in special round such as nit bhopal,bit mesra,nit raipur, nit rourkela
