Hey,

According to the policies, there is no such percentage criteria applied to appear for JEE Mains exam. Anyone who have completed their 10+2 or appearing for same are eligible, however once qualified the JEE Mains exam and you will seek to take admission in NITs, they will ask your 12th percentage that should be 75 and one thing more, according to the latest notice released by the MHRD minister, the percentage criteria for JEE Advanced or in IITs have been removed.

Hope you will find this answer useful,
All the best!
