Dear student,

YES, you can take science in you intermediate year if you choose to go with mathematics in your high-school as you can go with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in you 10+2.

In ICSE and CBSE boards you can choose science with the combination of:

  1. Physics+Chemistry+Mathematics
  2. Physics+Chemistry+Biology
  3. Physics+Chemistry+Biology+Mathematics

For you 10+2.

Dear student,

As far as I know about the cbse or icse board or any other equivalent university or board upto Std.10 Mathematics is a compulsory subject and usually we don't get a option for that but if it is so and considering your question you would definitely get science because it is one of the compulsory subjects apart from physics and chemistry.
