as age limit and there is no limit to attempt gate your passing year of b.tech doesnot matter.

however your score is too low. and i think you have not qualified in gate even for sc category. you have not mentioned which stream you have applied in gate. there is no possibility to get in good government colleges. as you are not qualified in gate therebis not possible to get 12500 stipend for every month during 2 years of study mtech.however srm , vit, bits, this colleges take student for admission in mtech through their own entrance test.

A stipend of 12,500 per month is given for those students who are pursuing their MTech through GATE.The stipend for MTech courses are given only for the GATE qualified candidates.You should have obtained the minimum qualifying marks for your particular branch.Only then you will be able to join MTech and pursue your course with GATE stipend.
