Hey student,

Economically Weaker Section in India is a subcategory of people having an annual family income less than 8 lakh and who do not belong to any category such as SC/ST/OBC across India, nor to MBC in Tamil Nadu.

candidates can always compete for the unreserved vacancies provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria of General category.

Yes you can change your category from general to ews when the correction window opens.

All the best student,

Hope this helps you.
