Sir /madam I have got general rank as 1956 and BC rank as 1172 . Now there are opening and closing cutoff rank for individual community.

hope you are doing well.
As you have got 1956 general rank and
1172 as BC category rank.
With these ranks, it's tough to get admission in Anna University for engineering.
I am not 100% sure but, as per my knowledge it's not enough to get Anna University with these marks.
Anna University is a very good college with high cutoff range.
