Hey aspirant, If you are from general category then in order to get admission in a branch like mechanical you will need to secure a percentile above 97 in order to get admission in any of the NITs.

Some of the NITs require percentile above 97.5 for being eligible for admission in Mechanical engineering.

I have told you the percentile range on the basis of previous year cutoffs of various NITs.
