Hello Manoj,

I can help you better if you share your JEE Main Percentile here. Now it would be difficult to tell you the qualifying score of JEE Advance as JEE Main is being conducted twice by NTA for the first time.

You can also prefer the previous year cutoff of JEE Main with the given below link.

If your JEE Main rank is 1.5 Lakh then as you know that this is not a good score & you can not expect NITs, IIITs, GFTIs or any other decent college. So I would suggest you to focus on BITSAT & try to score well in the exam. You can follow the preparation tips given below:

BITSAT is a online test it is recommended, You must attempt maximum amount of questions and your efficiency also must be good. A lot of practice is required for this.

English Proficiency, this part is slightly tough but you can easily get away with it if you attempt model paper and see pattern of questions asked in exams. I would also suggest you to focus on the most frequently asked questions in the exam.

You can prefer a personalized Preparation course BITSAT 2019 Knock Out It will be helpful for you to prepare the exam smartly with Unlimited Online Mock test, 5,000+ Concepts, formulas and Definitions, Most asked questions, personalized strength and weakness sheet to analyse yourself and more.

Good Luck!

Hello aspirant,

At a rank of 100K it's not possible to get NITs, IIITs, BIT Meshra, or any regional college like CoEP or VJTI or DTU.
My suggestion would be to nail BITSAT, VIT exam, etc and get into them. They are equally good. I know it's considered that getting into a good government college is much better than getting into these Private universities, according to our Indian mentality. However, I know really talented people from these private colleges some of which are even pursuing their Masters in IVY league in the States!
Hope you understand,
Thank you

Hello Manoj.

See it totally depends on which exam u cracked with better percentage and having a good college for u to get admissioned. By seeing ur score in JEE MAINS it can be assumed that u won't be gonna doing much good in JEE ADVANCED if it's ur genuine score. U would have not focussed on small things and also have not manager the time properly.

See clearing BITSAT also requires a good time management so if u are working on it then try to solve unsolved papers to improve that one. By whichever medium u are getting good college stuck to that.

Hope it helped u. Ask if any query.

Good luck
