With the rank which is mentioned by you it is very likely according to the previous year closing ranks that your son will get admission into the Amrita University Chemical engineering branch of Coimbatore campus.

You will likely get some scholarship but it’s impossible to predict where and how much. The exact distribution of scholarship is not published anywhere to best of my knowledge - I know it’s distributed amongst all programmes at all campuses.
