This is the approximate cost of mbbs course.

Dear Atal., there's no specific  fees for any college. It changes college by college. If you get in govt college along with accommodation and all the fees may be around 1 lakh per year. But the thing about pvt colleges are they vary from college to college. The approx range is around 4lakhs - 15 lakhs  per year. But if you get in some deemed  universities it may vary from 15lakhs-25lakhs per year.

In West Bengal
Government college-


750 per month college fee
Hostel fee - 12 RS.per month
                   2000 RS for mess ( including food,hostel fund etc)
Book,bone set, coaching institute- 1.5-2 lacs maximum
You can use seniors books and library



It's overhyped that medical field is too much costly.

In government college of West Bengal- this much fee is bearable by every middle class family.
