Many companies visit college for campusing like TCS, Wipro, CTS, Microsoft, Mindtree, etc. The number of students getting placements however varies. This year, 70% of the students got placed.

Infrastructure: There are 3 buildings in the college. The college offers 4 streams, computer science, electronics and communication, information technology and biotechnology. They have separate labs, many computer labs and a system per head. The college has a big library. 

After every odd semester, a Bit Big Bash and BITPL are held for cricket and football tournaments.

Faculty:   teachers are very helpful in Bengal institute of technology college. They are M.Tech qualified in different courses. They share their knowledge with the students. And help them learn C, Java, etc. A very friendly teacher-student relationship is maintained in the college.
