You haven't mentioned if you have qualified JRF in which subject, anyway in case of University of Hyderabad those who want to pursue PhD in Biochemistry, Plant Sciences, Animal Biology, Biotechnology, Systems and Computational Biology, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Public Health have the option to not opt for entrance test, in this case they are 52.5% marks in lieu of written test, however if you choose to appear for the test, then whicherver has highest marks among JRF or written test, that will be taken into consideration.
