To get a seat in IIIT, you need to first have cleared the JEE Main cutoff as per your category. After clearing the cutoff you have to attend the JoSAA counselling through which admissions will be done. In the counselling you will get know which colleges and branches are you getting as per your JEE Main score. If anyhow you don't get a seat through JoSAA counselling then you can apply for CSAB counselling through which also you can a seat in IIIT. The CSAB counselling will begin after JoSAA ends. In CSAB there is a Special Round counselling through which JEE Main qualified candidates are given admission to NITs,IIITs and GFTIs.
