Hello,

The rank over 1Lac is generally not favourable to get a seat in any college through JoSAA, as there are hardly 30k seats in NIT and IIIT system. Unless you have a reservation quota, there is very less chance that your daughter is going to get any college. But if you belong to SC/ST or even OBC the female supernumerary seats can definitely bag you some institution through JoSAA counselling. Also, if you belong to NorthEast, your rank is enough to get a seat even as a general. Without which, there is very low chance of even IIITs.



I would suggest you to go for states where JEE score is accepted as there are a lot of colleges which you can get for your daughter which are not part of JoSAA. I wish you all the best.
