Hey there hope you're doing well.
Dear aspirant, the above question can easily be solved by the concept of successive crossed series and parallel resistive circuits. The equivalent resistance across AE is (3+3) =6 parallel with 6 I.e 3 similar reduction across AD & AC  finally AC &AB are series (3+3) 6 in parallel with3 I.e equivalent resistance across AB is 2.
