Yes the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) qualified candidates are also eligible for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and SRF (Senior Research Fellowship) in CSIR, DST, DBT, ICMR, DRDO, ISRO, IIS but not in every institute.
