so i am a 17 yr old studying 12th (2025-26) cbse and am really interested in zoology and am into conserving ,i really want to get into veterinary science,am also taking neet coaching and my doubt is that is neet really necessary for vet or board marks is enough

If you want to pursue Veterinary Science (BVSc & AH) after 12th, then NEET-UG is mandatory for admission in both government and private veterinary colleges across India.
Board marks alone are not enough, as veterinary seats are filled through NEET counselling (VET/AIQ).
