In Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 9, boys usually pay around Rs.800/month (Rs.200 tuition + Rs.500 VVN + Rs.100 computer fund). Admission fee is Rs.25 and re-admission fee is Rs.100 per year. As an RTE student, you get admission benefit but fees are not fully exempted. Fee waivers apply only if you fall under other categories like SC/ST, BPL, single girl child, disabled, etc..
