Its not that whole class 11th topics have been excluded but the topics are from both class 11th and 12th .
THE topics included for the examination are

• MATHEMATICS--- Probability, Boolean algebra,linear inequation,limit and continuity,vector and 3d, Matrix, Statistics and dynamics,indefenite integral, definite Integeral and its application, Differential equation etc.
• CHEMISTRY--- Nuclear and Radio Chemistry,Halogen derivative of alkane and organic hydroxy compound, Chemistry of Transition and inner transition elements, Electrochemistry, Chemical Thermodynamics and Energetics,Nature of chemical bond, adsorption and colloids, carbohydrates, Protein and fats, kinetics,co ordinational chemistry etc
• PHYSICS--- Gravitation, Electromagnetic induction, Radioactivity, Semiconductor,Heat radiation, Wave and sound,Fluids ,HM,RM, Magnetic effect of electric current, Current Electricity,Electrostats, Wave Theory,Ray optics etc

Dear student class 11th syllabus is mandatory for jee main and for various competitive examination ,for jee main it's included 11th and 12th syllabus. If you are preparing for jee exam you should have to study 11th class syllabus also. If you are preparing for only 12th board then 11th class is not mandatory.

Hello student yes there's class 11 syllabus also included in imu cet exam not only in imu cet any entrance exam for B.tech the exam is almost same like your jee main exam so prepare accordingly. The syllabus of IMU CET 2020 exam would be similar to the Class XI and Class XII syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, GK, English, and aptitude of CBSE/ISE/State Boards.

Prefer Ncert first after that any reference book and also try to solve previous year question as much as possible.
