Hello Aspirant,

The specific heat of any substance at its boiling point and melting point is infinity, because the reason being is T= 0 but Q ≠ 0.

If we understand above statement and use it in the formula for specific heat then :-

C is inversely proportional to change in temperature i.e. T which is equal to 0 and hence specific heat is infinity.
