The SSC CGL exam for this year has been postponed from August 2025 to September 2025 because of the ongoing protest. The new dates for SSC CGL is 1st September to 13th September 2025 (tentative). For SSC CGL 2026, you can expect the paper to be conducted in August 2026 or September 2026.
There are 4 major subjects which you need to study for any SSC exam whether it be SSC CGL, SSC CHSL or SSC MTS which are:
1. Quantitative Reasoning: Basically it is Mathematics upto 10th class
2. Reasoning: Problem solving and logical questions
3. English: Grammar, Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension is asked in this section
4. General Awareness: Static GK + Current Affairs are asked in this section
