Hello,

It completely depends on you. If you are serious about joint entrance examination and are ready to work hard for it day and night then it's good to take drop and focus completely on preparation for JEE main and advance but if you don't work hard and waste your valuable time then your year gets wasted. You will have great opportunities to get good salary jobs through NITs and IITs compared to any college you enter by giving state level exam. So i repeat it again if you are really willing to work hard day amd night only then take a drop.

Hello,

Actually with the rank of jee main not only we can go for NITs,  reknowned colleges but also there are a lot of colleges who can accept jee main. So in that case if you have a pretty good marks to catch up a good institution then you must go for it. But if your marks is very low which don't have any capacity to catch any good institution and JEE Mains is your only aim then drop is the last option.

But you should make sure yourself that you have the capability to cover up all the syllabus in one year because  drop is not the time to learn from first, actually it is the time to do practice in a best way. If don't you make sure with then there is a possibility to lost the year which make you totally depressed.

So take a deep breath and think deeply what is your capability and then go for the next step.

Hope for the best.

Thank you.
