The KCG College. Of Technology offers B.E. in Aeronautical Engineering. This is a full time 4 years course.

Eligibility Criteria :

• The aspirant must have passed in 10+2 science stream from Tamil Nadu.
• You must have passed HSC (10+2) level or its equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board in Tamil Nadu itself.
• The applicants belonging to Tamil Nadu only will be considered for admission.

Admission Procedure :

• Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is a counselling process conducted by Anna University to offer admission in various B. Tech. courses.
• The candidates aspiring for admission to B.Tech course have to apply for TNEA. The application form can be filled through the website of Anna University.

Note : The Total Fees is 2.20 Lakhs.

Placements : An average number of students gets placed each year from this college. This college has got a good training cell that gives regular updates about everything related to the placement opportunities and also gives regular practice for aptitude.

Infrastructure :

• It has very large classrooms. For games and sports, two grounds are there in the college and good playing materials are provided for a student to excel in sports if he/she is interested.
• Library is also there in the college and it is well maintained.
• Medical facilities are also good.
• There is a canteen too for the students for the refreshments and they actually provide good food with a good quantity.

Faculty :

• Faculties here are very friendly and helpful. They have a sound knowledge about their subjects and they actually make the classroom activity very interactive for the students to grasp knowledge in a lively manner.
• Teacher usually use blackboard to teach to the students.
• Industry exposures will start from 3rd year onwards and faculties are really very supportive.

Overall, this college provides good curriculum, cultural events, sports, fellowships, and symposiums, etc for a student to groom efficiently.

The department of aeronautical engineering in KCG is permanently affiliated to the Anna University and accredited by AICTE. They aim to bring out the futuristic builders of flying machines that lay hidden within their students. The department consist of well experienced faculties and they also provide their students with modern lab facilities.

The department organises a variety of programmes for their students including national and international conferences, seminars and many more. They also arrange industrial visits in the field of aviation under the guidance of Dr Anand Jacob Varghese, who is the director and CEO of the Hindustan group of institutions as well as the Vice President and Chairman of aeronautical society of India's Chennai branck.
