Hello Abhijit. There are various books and online materials which are best for CAT preparation. But I would suggest you to go with materials given by coaching Institute. The prime reason is, none of the books available in market are close to the level of questions asked in CAT. All these books are either too easy or too tough. But online coaching Institute materials can help with the question types, which is updated. For example, in reasoning section, since last two years, new question types are being asked. But none of the available books in market are covering such question types. But the online coaching materials are updated and can also help you with their test series as well.

Here are some important materials for aptitude.

1. QUANTAM CAT-Sarvesh verma
2. QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE-Arun sharma
3. Past year question papers of CAT.
4. SIMCATs,AIMCATs.

So there are some topics you have to work on:

1)Set theory. (vv imp)

2)Ratio proportion tricks.

3)Missing data tables.

4)Average age based questions.(eg some students transfer to another class then age..)

5)Time and work based ques.

VA-RC:

1. For Vocabulary: Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis
2. For enhancing the reading speed, any novel and newspaper and anything you can read will be good enough.
3. For Grammar: Normal Grammar Rules from Wren and Martin.

LR-DI:

Books by Arun Sharma (TMH) and by Nishant Sinha (Pearson)

Quant:
