With no doubt about the competition, of course BTECH has a great edge over BSC. Even during placements and internships, BTECH Engineers are preferred over the BSC Professionals. You need to be in the very top list in Bsc to get a good placement but in Btech you already have every syllabus covered and topics distributed that maximum people get placements and even if you are average you will have a decent placement.

To sum up I will say BTech is a technical qualification, professional in nature and basic graduation programme in engineering technology.

Bsc is a graduate course and is a basic programme in science stream.

Of course B tech has more value but much depends upon your college/institute, your knowledge, aptitude and performance.

Both programmes lead to further post graduate courses to impove your knowledge and job chances.
