Correct Answer: 25
Solution : Number of days taken by 10 men to complete the work = 40 Number of days taken to complete the work after 4 men left after some days = 50 Total work = 10 × 40 = 400 units Let the number of days after the commencement of the work when the four men left be $x$. So, 10$x$ + 6(50 – $x$) = 400 ⇒ 4$x$ = 100 ⇒ $x$ = 25 Hence, the correct answer is 25.
