For finding the greatest and the least prime number less than 100, you must remember that the greatest one will obviously be a two digit number and the least one will be a single digit number

Now by trial and error method,

The greatest prime number less than 100 is 97

The least prime minister less than 100 is 2, as 1 is co-prime

The difference between 97 and 2 = 97-2= 95

Thus the required number is 95

The greatest prime number under 100 is 97, while the smallest prime number is 2. The difference between them can be found by subtracting 2 from 97, which gives a result of 95. Hence, the difference between the largest and smallest prime numbers below 100 is 95.
