Solution : We have to find the total number of females working in the production department. Total number of employees = 5100 In the production department total number of employees = $5100\times \frac{20}{100} = 1020$ And 48% are males. $\therefore$ Number of females in production department = 1020 – 2050$\times\frac{48}{100}$ =1020 – 984 = 36 Hence, the correct answer is 36.
